Find Filings and Understand Statuses

Locate drafts and envelopes, check eFileTexas records, and interpret pending and final outcomes.

Find and Open the Record

Open Filings, clear any filters that could hide the item, and search the list. Filters can narrow by status, court, or filer where available. Drafts and submitted records are separate: a draft is not proof that the corresponding envelope was accepted.

Select the filing to inspect its record. Keep the envelope identifier and any Referlex submission reference shown. These identify a transaction and are different from the case's cause number.

If you expect an envelope that is absent, Check eFileTexas Records checks the last 90 days in courts already represented in the list. It is a limited lookup, not a complete historical import. Records found only through eFileTexas can show provider and status information without Referlex's saved documents or full timeline. For those records, use the original provider or court records as appropriate.

Understand Statuses

StatusMeaning and Next Action
DraftSaved preparation. Resume it to finish; it has not been submitted by saving alone.
SendingThe request is still in flight. Wait for the status update; do not duplicate it.
Under RevieweFileTexas reported submission and the clerk's final outcome is pending.
AcceptedAn acceptance was reported. Open the record and download available stamped documents.
Partially AcceptedSome items were accepted and others were not. Inspect the item-level outcomes before correcting anything.
RejectedInspect the explanation. A clerk rejection differs from an EFM refusal before an envelope was created.
ServedA service-only delivery outcome was reported. This is not court acceptance of a filing.
No OutcomeDelivery or outcome is unconfirmed. It may have reached the court. Verify before submitting again.

A status belongs to the transaction it describes. Court acceptance, individual document outcomes, and service delivery should each be checked in the record; one does not prove the others.
