Connect Your eFileTexas Account
Link an existing account, register and activate a new one, or recover access.
Sign In and Link an Existing Account
Your Referlex sign-in and your eFileTexas account serve different purposes. The first gets you into Referlex; the second identifies the filer and firm used by the Texas filing system.
- Sign in to Referlex and open E-Filing.
- If prompted to connect, choose I Already Have an eFileTexas Account.
- Enter that account's email and password, then choose Connect Account.
- Check the connected identity before creating a filing. For a firm account, verify the firm as well.
Use the account you already use for Texas filing rather than creating a second firm merely to connect Referlex. An account from another environment is not interchangeable with a Stage account. If your firm manages access, ask its administrator which filer account to use.
Create and Activate an Account
If you need a new account, the connection page offers Set One Up for Me. Choose Individual Filer for a personal account or Firm Administrator to create a firm and its first administrator.
Complete the requested name, contact, firm, and address fields. The registration form currently requires a firm name for either account type. Creating a firm administrator account is not the same as joining an existing firm; coordinate existing-firm access with its administrator.
After registration, open the eFileTexas activation email and follow its link. Return to Referlex and continue the activation check. If the page still reports activation pending, verify that you used the email for this account and environment, check spam, and retry after completing activation. An activation screen is not a successful filing connection until the check finishes.
Reconnect or Recover Access
If Referlex asks you to reconnect, use the current eFileTexas credentials. The recovery screen also offers a password-reset flow. Changing a password in one system does not necessarily change the password in the other.
For firm filers, a valid sign-in can still have filing restrictions. An account can be inactive, unactivated, unapproved, locked, or restricted from filing. A firm administrator can inspect the account status in Filer Settings. Do not create duplicate accounts as a workaround for an unresolved restriction.
